Performance Opportunities

Students are given the opportunity to perform with The NSW Ballet School.

Demonstration Day
Each mid year the School holds demonstration days for parents. These open classes
are for students to demonstrate their examination work, and as parents are not
normally permitted to watch classes, this is an ideal opportunity for them to
view their child's progress.

Annual Performance

All
students participate in a major annual performance. These productions are an
adaptation of a full-length ballet. Full costumes and props are used and the
performance takes place in the UNSW Science Theatre. To view pictures from our
previous performances go to our Photo Gallery.Students attending our Half Course Program will perform in one ACT and get the opportunity to watch the remainder of the Performance free of charge, and students attending our Full Course Program will perform in two ACTs of the Performance.

Eisteddfods

are a fabulous way for students to learn stage craft, solo performance
techniques and many other skills directly relating to a performance career in
dance. Students are invited to take part in these competitions and weekly
private lessons, costume design and choreography takes place.
